Mr. Richel Gimeno Lorca is our 25-year old Science I, Biology and Health II Teacher. He graduated from West Visayas State University in La Paz, Iloilo City with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Biology.
According to him, Science is the only subject which he enjoys the most even when he was still a child. He also finds the subject very exciting to teach.
Mr. Lorca spent his first year after college as a volunteer teacher in Capiz. After this, he had a regular teaching job at Our Lord’s Angel School in Caloocan City.
He said that even though he is new here, he already has friends because he can mingle with anyone. His favorite sport is Volleyball.
“I am only fulfilling my dream to become a Teacher,” said Mr.Lorca, when asked why he chose teaching as his profession. He thinks MDPS has a good program and that the teachers are very accommodating. He finds MDPSians as well-disciplined and loving students.
